Aws E7016 is carbon steel electrodes with low hydrogen potassium type coating.

E7016 welding  electrode is widely used low hyrogen type electrode suitable for welding low-allay high strength steel of 

50KG grade(490Mpa), such as ships, bridges and pressure containers. This electrode can be used for welding in all positions

The weld metal has excellent mechanical properties.

This kind of electrodes was to be welded middle carbon steel and low alloy steel structure.
